Description

Squigle® Enamel Saver® Xylitol Toothpaste with FLOURIDE is a gentle, mouth-friendly toothpaste designed to support a clean, healthy smile. With a refreshing flavor and a high concentration of birch-based xylitol (36%), it helps maintain fresh breath and promotes good oral hygiene by reducing plaque and surface stains. Squigle also helps with canker sores and soothes and protects dry mouths.

Many customers appreciate Squigle for its thoughtful ingredient list and effective daily care and it has a very loyal customer base with a high rate of repeat purchases, because it works so well. It's free from harsh detergents and abrasives commonly found in traditional toothpastes, making it a great choice for those with sensitive mouths or looking for a simpler formula.

Key Features:

  • Contains 36% US birch-derived xylitol – more than most other toothpaste brands. Xylitol's unique properties discourage the development of plaque, cavities and even bad breath. That means healthier teeth, gums and mouth.

  • Fluoride-based formula helps support enamel health

  • No sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) or other harsh detergents which have been thought to contribute to painful canker sores and mouth ulcers.

  • Free from irritating tartar control agents, strong bleaches, and stinging flavors. It also doesn't contain harsh abrasives or bleaches. What's not in your toothpaste is as important as what is. Use Squigle® for long-term canker sore control.

  • Supports a comfortable brushing experience for those with sensitive gums or mouths

  • Made in the USA with vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, and soy-free ingredients

Is Squigle® Toothpaste with 36% Xylitol a cardiovascular risk?
©2024 SQUIGLE, Inc.

Recently a paper appeared** which states that ingestion of Xylitol may pose a cardiovascular risk.

Normal use of Squigle's toothpastes does not pose a risk--most people ages 6 and up don't swallow their toothpaste.

In the extreme case where a person brushes his/her teeth with a Squigle® Toothpaste 3 times a day and swallows, they would consume about 1 gram of Xylitol, which is too small to pose a risk, according to the article.

Regarding Squigle JR, which is recommended for infants and toddlers, the dose of Xylitol which they would swallow is too small to pose a risk, according to the article.

Applications of Xylitol which may pose a risk, according to the article,  include habitual heavy use of:
   Xylitol chewing gum
   Xylitol candy
Xylitol used as a sugar substitute

Product arrived on time and in great condition. Replaced with Squiggle when Rembrandt ceased production of its toothpaste for canker sore sufferers.

Posted by Michael on 9th Jul 2016

Been using just this toothpaste for about 9 months now and i havent had a single horrible canker sore attack since i started! Of course i may get one canker sore hurting once in a while just from junk foods and sweets or other reasons but this toothpaste has completely stopped the horrible canker sore attacks i used to have 10-20 in the mouth at once! Full rating would give more if i could.

    Enamel Saver Toothpaste

Posted by Glen Borage on 14th Jun 2016

I've been using Enamel Saver for years now. Prior to using Enamel Saver I suffered from chronic canker sores, typically getting at least one or two per month. Since using Enamel Saver I rarely get canker sores and even when I do get one it typically is less severe and of shorter duration. Enamel Saver has been a blessing for me and is well worth the additional cost. GB

    Squigle

Posted by Donna on 15th May 2016

My son is prone to canker sore outbreaks. He gets them so frequently with so many at a time it hinders his eating and speaking. This toothpaste REALLY helps. He was reluctant to use it because he thought the packaging was juvenile (I know- it's silly)but when he noticed he hasn't had the canker sores with the severity of before, he gladly uses it. Thank you for this product!! It works!!

    Best toothpaste for me

Posted by Faithful brusher on 12th Mar 2016

I love that Squigle toothpaste has ingredients I can benefit from, like fluoride and xylitol, and does not have ingredients that bother me, like sodium lauryl sulfate. I found that SLS irritated my mouth and was a big cause of canker sores. I even recommended Squigle to my hygienist who had her husband start using it for the same problem. I also like that it is made in the USA.

    Best toothpaste by far

Posted by caelon q. on 7th Mar 2016

Coming from a person who doesn't write reviews, due to the email I received asking for one, I must say this toothpaste has been tremendously useful and exemplifies adequate results; ergo, its competitors have no match as far as organic, bona fide, and enamel saving.

I'm a Dental Hygienist and this is the only toothpaste I'll use

Posted by Jolene on 22nd Feb 2016

I love this toothpaste. I buy it for my whole family because it's safe and free of dyes and added junk we don't need. I also love that it has both Xylitol and Fluoride; I grew up getting tooth decay constantly so I need fluoride. The taste is mild and not overpowering, but you feel clean and fresh afterwards. I'm a Dental Hygienist and this is the only toothpaste I'll use!

I've been using squiggle for a few days now and am pleased with it. Doesn't burn like other pastes do.

Great toothpaste for a person like me who is easy to get mouth sores. Does not irritate like some toothpastes.
