Squigle® Jr Xylitol Toothpaste
36% xylitol, 18.5% nanocalcite, plus water, glycerin, poloxamer, cellulose gum, Methocel, flavor, calcium propionate, lactoferrin.
Directions for Infants:
Wash hands. Apply a 1/8 inch length of Squigle Jr Toothpaste to a soft cloth or finger brush. Do not smear. Lightly rub baby's upper and lower gums, twice a day. Safe to swallow the recommended dose.
Directions for Toddlers:
Wash hands. Apply a 1/4 inch length of Squigle Jr Toothpaste to a soft brush. Do not smear. Brush 2 minutes, twice a day. Rinse. Safe to swallow the recommended dose.
What Squigle®Jr does not have that many conventional toothpastes do: Artificial colors, artificial sweeteners, benzoates, benzyl alcohol, carrageenan, cocamidopropyl betain, corn, erythritol, ethyl alcohol, fluoride, gluten, parabens, saccharin, silica, silicone, simethicone, sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium lauroyl sarcosinate, sodium methyl cocoyl taurate, sorbitol, soy, sucralose, or wheat.

Is Squigle® Toothpaste with 36% Xylitol a cardiovascular risk?
©2024 SQUIGLE, Inc. Recently a paper appeared** which states that ingestion of Xylitol may pose a cardiovascular risk. Normal use of Squigle's toothpastes does not pose a risk--most people ages 6 and up don't swallow their toothpaste.
In the extreme case where a person brushes his/her teeth with a Squigle® Toothpaste 3 times a day and swallows, they would consume about 1 gram of Xylitol, which is too small to pose a risk, according to the article.
Regarding Squigle JR, which is recommended for infants and toddlers, the dose of Xylitol which they would swallow is too small to pose a risk, according to the article. Applications of Xylitol which may pose a risk, according to the article, include habitual heavy use of: Xylitol chewing gum Xylitol candy Xylitol used as a sugar substitute **M.
