Description

Squigle® Enamel Saver® Xylitol Toothpaste with FLOURIDE is a gentle, mouth-friendly toothpaste designed to support a clean, healthy smile. With a refreshing flavor and a high concentration of birch-based xylitol (36%), it helps maintain fresh breath and promotes good oral hygiene by reducing plaque and surface stains. Squigle also helps with canker sores and soothes and protects dry mouths.

Many customers appreciate Squigle for its thoughtful ingredient list and effective daily care and it has a very loyal customer base with a high rate of repeat purchases, because it works so well. It's free from harsh detergents and abrasives commonly found in traditional toothpastes, making it a great choice for those with sensitive mouths or looking for a simpler formula.

Key Features:

  • Contains 36% US birch-derived xylitol – more than most other toothpaste brands. Xylitol's unique properties discourage the development of plaque, cavities and even bad breath. That means healthier teeth, gums and mouth.

  • Fluoride-based formula helps support enamel health

  • No sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) or other harsh detergents which have been thought to contribute to painful canker sores and mouth ulcers.

  • Free from irritating tartar control agents, strong bleaches, and stinging flavors. It also doesn't contain harsh abrasives or bleaches. What's not in your toothpaste is as important as what is. Use Squigle® for long-term canker sore control.

  • Supports a comfortable brushing experience for those with sensitive gums or mouths

  • Made in the USA with vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, and soy-free ingredients

Is Squigle® Toothpaste with 36% Xylitol a cardiovascular risk?
©2024 SQUIGLE, Inc.

Recently a paper appeared** which states that ingestion of Xylitol may pose a cardiovascular risk.

Normal use of Squigle's toothpastes does not pose a risk--most people ages 6 and up don't swallow their toothpaste.

In the extreme case where a person brushes his/her teeth with a Squigle® Toothpaste 3 times a day and swallows, they would consume about 1 gram of Xylitol, which is too small to pose a risk, according to the article.

Regarding Squigle JR, which is recommended for infants and toddlers, the dose of Xylitol which they would swallow is too small to pose a risk, according to the article.

Applications of Xylitol which may pose a risk, according to the article,  include habitual heavy use of:
   Xylitol chewing gum
   Xylitol candy
Xylitol used as a sugar substitute

    Works great!

Posted by Crystal on 24th Oct 2017

My husband has halitosis from hell!!!! He had been using therabreath toothpaste but the store we shop at regularly stopped carrying it. And the other store that carries it in our small town is always out of stock. So I was on a mission to find him a new toothpaste. I hate having to buy different toothpastes for him and myself. I wanted to find something we would both like. Knowing the benefits of xylitol, I searched for the toothpaste with the highest percentage of xylitol, and this was it. The taste is great, refreshing but not too strong. My mouth feels clean after using it. And best of all it keeps my husband's terrible breath at bay! I highly recommend this stuff. I just wish it cost a little less.

    Fabulous toothpaste

Fabulous toothpaste. Helps my dry mouth tremendously. No chapped lips, sores or weird peeling of my inner cheeks. Love both toothpastes.

    Awesome toothpaste!

Our family loves this toothpaste. Gentle, deep cleaning, fresh minty taste. It's the only thing that works for us, including our multiple allergies to corn and gluten!

My dental hygienist recommended that I try Squigle to get relief from canker sores. I started using it and found that it eliminated my canker sore problem. I have used it for over 10 years. No other toothpaste for me.

    Just what I needed!

Posted by Superteacher on 30th Jul 2017

My doctor told me to find a toothpaste with no sodium lauryl sulfate due to the mouth sores I was having during chemo. Squigle fits the bill! I like the taste and the fact that it has flouride. Since using Squigle, my mouth sores have disappeared. I will continue to order this fine product from you (best price on the internet) and use it daily. Thank you for making this finetoothpaste.

    Best Toothpaste Ever

Posted by Suzie on 26th Jun 2017

I googled my problem online and came across Squigle toothpaste and all the wonderful reviews and back then, it looks like you could buy it only in the UK. I did located the Doctor who invented the toothpaste in PA and ordered from his office via Overnight because I was in dire need of help. This toothpaste is the BEST EVER!!! I will be using this toothpaste for as long as they make it.

    Love It!

Posted by EZRider on 17th Jun 2017

This stuff is great - just wish it was a little less expensive. It does not completely eliminate cancer sores, however, the frequency is much less!! Instead of "all the time" - I get maybe one per month. Wonderful!!
