sodium fluoride - 0.24% - Purpose: Anticavity
- Xylitol (prevents plaque, boosts fluoride)

Uses:
Fights canker sores, cavities, chapped lips, gum disease, perioral dermatitis. Soothes and protects dry mouths.
Floss. Brush for 2 minutes 2-3 times daily.

Warnings
Don's use fluoride toothpaste before age 6. Keep out of reach of kids under 6. Do not swallow. Call a physician or Poison Control Center promptly if more than a brush length is swallowed.

Is Squigle® Toothpaste with 36% Xylitol a cardiovascular risk?
©2024 SQUIGLE, Inc. Recently a paper appeared** which states that ingestion of Xylitol may pose a cardiovascular risk. Normal use of Squigle's toothpastes does not pose a risk--most people ages 6 and up don't swallow their toothpaste.
In the extreme case where a person brushes his/her teeth with a Squigle® Toothpaste 3 times a day and swallows, they would consume about 1 gram of Xylitol, which is too small to pose a risk, according to the article.
Regarding Squigle JR, which is recommended for infants and toddlers, the dose of Xylitol which they would swallow is too small to pose a risk, according to the article. Squigle toothpaste
Squigle toothpaste is great! I had to switch from the Biotene I had used for years because they changed the formula and made it too strong. I was worried I would not find anything I liked as well as Biotene, but Squigle is very gentle and has a nice flavor.

The only toothpaste I use: Squigle
As in the title, this is the only toothpaste I use. It tastes good, has no harsh ingredients like sodium lauryl sulfate, and best of all has a high content of Xylitol, which has a lot of health improving properties that you can read about in the product description as well as anywhere else on the web.

Squigle Toothpaste
Excellent product. I developed severely chapped/burned lips and cold sores while using toothpaste with SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate). Using toothpaste with SLS the inside of my mouth and lips would burn/sting. After switching to Squigle Toothpaste I found immediate relief after the 1st use. Now after 2 weeks no chapped lips, cold sores or burning mouth. Homestead Market shipped the Squigle Toothpaste the same day I ordered and I received it 2 days later.
