sodium fluoride - 0.24% - Purpose: Anticavity
- Xylitol (prevents plaque, boosts fluoride)

Uses:
Fights canker sores, cavities, chapped lips, gum disease, perioral dermatitis. Soothes and protects dry mouths.
Floss. Brush for 2 minutes 2-3 times daily.

Warnings
Don's use fluoride toothpaste before age 6. Keep out of reach of kids under 6. Do not swallow. Call a physician or Poison Control Center promptly if more than a brush length is swallowed.

Is Squigle® Toothpaste with 36% Xylitol a cardiovascular risk?
©2024 SQUIGLE, Inc. Recently a paper appeared** which states that ingestion of Xylitol may pose a cardiovascular risk. Normal use of Squigle's toothpastes does not pose a risk--most people ages 6 and up don't swallow their toothpaste.
In the extreme case where a person brushes his/her teeth with a Squigle® Toothpaste 3 times a day and swallows, they would consume about 1 gram of Xylitol, which is too small to pose a risk, according to the article.
Regarding Squigle JR, which is recommended for infants and toddlers, the dose of Xylitol which they would swallow is too small to pose a risk, according to the article. My 28 year old son and 23 year old daughter..both plagued with mouth sores..swear by this toothpaste! I get them several tubes every year for Christmas! Great product and highly recommend!

Good so far
While I can''t yet say if it''s effective at preventing cavities, I am extremely thankful that I found this product after Rembrandt discontinued their canker sore toothpaste. It seems to have been a smooth transition to this toothpaste.

Squigle Toothpaste with Xylitol and Fluoride - 4 o
This toothpaste is great. I really do like it. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I like a bit more bold mint flavor in my toothpaste. Love the idea that it has more xylitol then most brands. Will buy this again, just hoping they will come out with a bolder flavoring.

This is something I never thought I''d say about a toothpaste, but Squiggle toothpaste has changed my life. I used to suffer almost constantly from canker sores, and they were triggered by many foods, stress, traveling, and mouth trauma (e.g. biting the inside of my cheek). I''d tried many SLS-free toothpastes, but I could tell that they were still irritating my mouth with other ingredients in the toothpaste. Since I started using Squiggle several years ago I can count the number of canker sores I''ve had on one hand, which as any serious canker sore suffer knows is a life-changing difference. I can now eat milk chocolate, tomato, citrus fruits, and strawberries, all foods that before were guaranteed to give me a canker sore. I''ve always ordered from Homestead Market because they have the best price, they deliver fast, and the order is filled correctly. I can''t say enough good things about Squiggle, and I fully recommend Homestead Market when ordering Squiggle.

I suffer from large painful mouth ulcers, and regular toothpaste burns my mouth. Since using Squigle, the ulcers are less and it does not burn my mouth. Love the product.

Great product
As a canker sore sufferer for decades, I have tried many, many suggested remedies. While I still get sores, sodium laurel sulfate free Squigle toothpaste has made life more pleasant. It is soothing and non-irritating, and I think helps lessen the severity of an attack. As a bonus, my teeth get rave reviews from the dental hygienist who cleans them!
