sodium fluoride - 0.24% - Purpose: Anticavity
- Xylitol (prevents plaque, boosts fluoride)

Uses:
Fights canker sores, cavities, chapped lips, gum disease, perioral dermatitis. Soothes and protects dry mouths.
Floss. Brush for 2 minutes 2-3 times daily.

Warnings
Don's use fluoride toothpaste before age 6. Keep out of reach of kids under 6. Do not swallow. Call a physician or Poison Control Center promptly if more than a brush length is swallowed.

Is Squigle® Toothpaste with 36% Xylitol a cardiovascular risk?
©2024 SQUIGLE, Inc. Recently a paper appeared** which states that ingestion of Xylitol may pose a cardiovascular risk. Normal use of Squigle's toothpastes does not pose a risk--most people ages 6 and up don't swallow their toothpaste.
In the extreme case where a person brushes his/her teeth with a Squigle® Toothpaste 3 times a day and swallows, they would consume about 1 gram of Xylitol, which is too small to pose a risk, according to the article.
Regarding Squigle JR, which is recommended for infants and toddlers, the dose of Xylitol which they would swallow is too small to pose a risk, according to the article. Ulcer care
My wife used to regularly get mouth ulcers. First she would feel thin spots on her cheeks, then they''d become open sores, then get this white film before healing. Once we changed to Squigle she was so much happier. She occasionally has thin spots but they don''t hurt, and they never become open sores.

Bad for cavities, good for sensitive mouths
We love this toothpaste! My dentist highly recommended it for my children who have had terrible cavities in the past. Well, we are 1 year and counting, and no cavities. The toothpaste seems to really help, and it is easy on the mouth,especially for those prone to cold sores.
