Uses:
Fights canker sores, cavities, chapped lips, gum disease, perioral dermatitis. Soothes and protects dry mouths.
Floss. Brush for 2 minutes 2-3 times daily.

Warnings

Is Squigle® Toothpaste with 36% Xylitol a cardiovascular risk?
©2024 SQUIGLE, Inc. Recently a paper appeared** which states that ingestion of Xylitol may pose a cardiovascular risk. Normal use of Squigle's toothpastes does not pose a risk--most people ages 6 and up don't swallow their toothpaste.
In the extreme case where a person brushes his/her teeth with a Squigle® Toothpaste 3 times a day and swallows, they would consume about 1 gram of Xylitol, which is too small to pose a risk, according to the article.
Regarding Squigle JR, which is recommended for infants and toddlers, the dose of Xylitol which they would swallow is too small to pose a risk, according to the article. I discovered this toothpaste 10 years ago when it was still being distributed by its "inventor". I suffered for years with canker sores. I am a dental hygienist and this is the best product I have found for people with canker sores. I have only had 1 in the past 10 years and it was while I was on vacation and didn't have my Squiggle. The whole family uses it. 4 people no cavities in 10 years. The xylitol kills the bacteria that causes decay. This is an excellent product. I recommend it to patients all the time.

I have Sjogren's Syndrome and the inside of my mouth is extremely sensitive. This product burned my mouth and I cannot use it. I believe it is the strong peppermint flavoring that is the culprit - I find that spearmint flavoring is much better for me and does not burn my mouth. Wish this came in spearmint flavor.

SOLVED my canker sore issues
After a history of frequent canker sores, I have had almost none since I adopted Squigle many years ago. I am not one who succumbs to the logical fallacy "After, therefore because of." In this case there is no doubt that the elimination of SLS from my toothpaste did the trick.

Squigle is the best
Hi-This toothpaste truly has eliminated all canker sores from my 10 year old sons mouth. I had ran out of Squigle and he had to use regular toothpaste for about 5 days and sure enough another canker sore popped up. I won't run out again. I am stocked up.
