Is Squigle® Toothpaste with 36% Xylitol a cardiovascular risk?
©2024 SQUIGLE, Inc. Recently a paper appeared** which states that ingestion of Xylitol may pose a cardiovascular risk. Normal use of Squigle's toothpastes does not pose a risk--most people ages 6 and up don't swallow their toothpaste.
In the extreme case where a person brushes his/her teeth with a Squigle® Toothpaste 3 times a day and swallows, they would consume about 1 gram of Xylitol, which is too small to pose a risk, according to the article.
Regarding Squigle JR, which is recommended for infants and toddlers, the dose of Xylitol which they would swallow is too small to pose a risk, according to the article. Applications of Xylitol which may pose a risk, according to the article, include habitual heavy use of: Xylitol chewing gum Xylitol candy Xylitol used as a sugar substitute **M. This toothpaste saved my mouth.

My son loves it!
My 9-year-old son has many allergies, including corn. Until we found squigle we were brushing his teeth with baking soda, which was a wrestling match because he hated the taste. He likes the taste of this toothpaste, so we don't have to fight him to brush his teeth, and he hasn't had any reaction to it. In addition to the product quality, the customer service was outstanding. I meant to order two tubes, but mis-clicked and ordered only one, so I placed a second order immediately for the second. I received an email within a few minutes asking if I had intended to place two orders. I explained my mistake, and they fixed the orders so they would ship together, and we received them quickly. I will definitely continue to order his product.

Great Product, Great Service
As soon as I started using Squigle 8 years ago the number of canker sores I experienced dropped by over 90%. And on the rare occasion that I get one, it's only that--one! No more outbreaks. Anyway, I usually buy Squigle by the dozen--it's cheaper that way, and Homestead Market is by far the least expensive seller.. Somehow they were able to beat Amazon's price by $17. Shipping was very reasonable, and I received the order in only a few days. I'm very impressed with the price and service, and will continue to purchase from Homestead Market when it's time to restock.

Best. Toothpaste. Ever.
I have suffered from terrible canker sores for my entire life. As an integral part of my dental hygiene regimen, Squigle Enamel Saver has helped reduce my incidence of canker sores by 95%!!! I am NOT a paid shill, but I LOVE THIS TOOTHPASTE! Along with brushing and flossing thoroughly twice a day, taking 5000 IU/day of Vitamin D, and a 250 mg pill of BHT, my canker sores have been virtually eliminated. Thank you, Squigle!

Works For Me!
Been using this product for several years now. Previously had issues with canker sores, and after some research found that it could be related to SLS in toothpaste. So I tried this product and they all cleared up, never to return!

I have to say, I was skeptical at first when my Hygienist told me about Squigle – and even MORE skeptical when I saw that the price of this toothpaste was well over the cost of regular toothpaste; but once I tried it, I was hooked. I’m a long time sufferer of canker sores – A LOT, so I’m open to trying anything that so boldly states right on the package – Fights Canker Sores. Once I started, I haven’t looked back at ANY other toothpaste. The stuff truly works! And I like that Homestead Market ALWAYS has this stuff in stock, and at a reasonably good price. I’ve found Squigle online in other areas, but no one can match the Homestead price.

Squigle makes my mouth feel brand new!
I first used Squigle when my husband bought some on the suggestion of his dental hygeinist. I tried it, but didn't think it "felt" minty enough. But I liked that it had no irritating ingredients and still had fluoride, so I gave it another shot. Day after day, I liked it better and better. After brushing, my teeth felt clean, my mouth, minty but my gums weren't all irritated from the strong mint toothpastes I had grown accustomed to. I used up that first tube and just ordered two more. I am a fan!

Great product
Great quality product. My oldest daughter would suffer with canker sores quite frequently. Since switching to this toothpaste she hasn't had any more. Also love that the daft it doesn't have all those horrible ingredients in it.

I bought Squigle to replace discontinued Rembrandt canker sore toothpaste. I am totally pleased with the texture, taste and foaming, and have had no recurrence of canker sores. The price is very reasonable and shipping was quick. I am pleased with the xylitol content. Thank you for this product!
