Burning mouth is so complex it is still considered “an enigma” by the published experts.
Spry toothpaste will be a good help because it does not have SLS which will exacerbate BMS. Fluoride is not a contributing factor to this condition. Gum, mints, gels, all can be soothing and distracting, especially our Moisturizing Mouth Gel. I would recommend staying away from the cinnamon flavored products. Also, low pH products, waters, beverages, and foods, such as crust on french bread, hard/crunchy cereals, tortilla chips, etc., can irritate the tissues, also exacerbating the sensation of having a burning mouth.
