Why is it Called B-FRESH® “Powerhouse Gum” Anyway?
B-FRESH® gum is a unique patented formula that is naturally able to alter the pH levels in mouths to help eliminate the bacteria that can cause bad breath, plaque, and tooth decay. Traditional breath fresheners are designed to cover the bad breath odor with a strong flavor. B-FRESH®’s products combine xylitol, calcium, and B-12 vitamins to create a trusted breath freshening, pH leveling product that is good for you.
Xylitol, itself, does not alter mouth pH levels, as it has a natural pH level and does not lend itself as a food source for bacteria. For example, if your saliva is at a neutral pH of 7, and you consume pure xylitol, the pH of the mouth remains a 7. But the combined ingredients of the B-FRESH®’s patented formula -- Xylitol, Calcium and Vitamin B12 -- will raise the pH level to between 9 and 11, a level which helps reduce bacteria in mouths. The higher pH level creates a more alkaline environment where bacteria are unable to thrive and quickly die, leaving your mouth feeling clean and refreshed.

• Vitamin B12 plays a crucial role in the regeneration and formation of red blood cells and nerve functions in our bodies.
• B12 Vitamins aid in lowering homocysteine levels. Elevated homocysteine levels have been linked to the risk for heart disease which causes heart attacks.
• It can: act as an oxygen transporter, boost the body’s immune system, may aid in easing neurological disorders, and assist with metabolizing fat.
• Because B-FRESH® gums contain three forms of water soluble calcium and a body might have a difficult time absorbing calcium if there is a lack of B12 vitamins.
Vitamin B12, at this time, does not have a known toxicity level. Any extra B12 that your body does not use is excreted. Children may also chew this gum at an age appropriate time.
Why is the gum pink?
The vitamin B12 causes the pink coloring of the gum and mint. In the past vitamin B12 has been known as the red vitamin. Some people think that there is a “vitamin” taste to the gum.
